"Bob McGorrin served as Department Head for Food Science & Technology for over 20 years and oversaw the creation and rapid growth of the fermentation program. He continues to serve the industry through his flavor chemistry research program and is a Fellow with the Institute of Food Technologists. Recently, his research on sensory characteristics of hazelnut varieties has provided valuable information to Oregon’s hazelnut industry." -Lisbeth Goddik
