I have studied the carbon cycle at the ocean's boundaries from the deep sea floor to the ocean surface to the continental margins, and developed the physical and virtual technology to make the necessary observations and interpretations. For the last seven years I have been leading efforts to build a wave energy test facility off the Oregon Coast.
