Andrew Meigs

As a geologist focused on earthquakes and mountain building throughout my career, I engaged in both research and teaching while at OSU. Teaching students, particularly in an introductory field geology class, has been a major highlight. I have been on a first name basis with every Geology major since I started the course in 2007. Playing a central role in the conceptualization and writing of the grant that funded the Cascadia Region Earthquake Center ranks as a top research accomplishment.
