"Alex has been a key player in the Organic Farming Program at OSU.  Her contributions have impacted the lives and business of stakeholders across the Oregon.  Among her many contributions, she worked with conventional and organic vegetable farmers on cultural and biological control of plant diseases. She was also involved in a sustainability initiative by the Oregon Processed Vegetable Commission with a focus on wildlife habitat conservation on Willamette Valley farms.
